Using the latest Spinlock inflatable lifejacket harness technology, the Deckvest VITO is based on design work for the 2017 - 2018 Volvo Ocean Race. All teams wore the same inflatable lifejacket harness developed in collaboration with a group of Volvo offshore sailors. A key aspect of the new design was a lifejacket that sailors wanted to wear more often and with numerous custom features.
All the functions make it the sailor's first choice: a red light to preserve night vision, a white floodlight to light the whole sail, and an ultra-powerful distance light.
Sized for most outboards from 2-15 horsepower. It features a longer strap to fit 4-stroke motors and an added security strap for today's streamlined engine cases.
Modern, quick-acting 4-1/2" stove-finished brass pencil compass, with 4" dividers. Includes bow compass, extension bar, drawing pen with handle and extra pencil leads.
The vane is permanently attached to the stake while the plastic base easily slides in and out of the bow eye fairlead, held in place for sailing with the stake. Simple to install and remove after sailing.
