Forespar Marelon 251 Series Full Threaded Mushroom Head Thru-Hull for Pipe
Forespar Thru-Hull Connectors are precision moulded in high strength Marelon.
Their great strength, lightweight and complete freedom from corrosion and electrolysis make them the ideal Thru-Hull Connectors for use above or below the waterline. All Thru-Hull Connectors must be installed with proper bedding compound. Marelon can be used with any marine grade sealant or bedding compound, using the same techniques as with bronze fittings.
Forespar recommends a maximum torque setting of 20 lb/ft. for the Series 251 Thru-Hull Connectors.
Marelon plumbing fittings have NPT Parallel threads and the threads can be sealed with Teflon tape or plumber's dope. Bronze and Marelon fittings can be fitted together.
