Using the latest Spinlock inflatable lifejacket harness technology, the Deckvest VITO is based on design work for the 2017 - 2018 Volvo Ocean Race. All teams wore the same inflatable lifejacket harness developed in collaboration with a group of Volvo offshore sailors. Midrange Hexaratchet blocks grip loaded sheets, yet allow sailors to ease and trim quickly and with complete control. A switch on the side engages and disengages the ratchet mechanism.
