MapTech's heavy-duty vinyl cover is specially designed to fit Maptech's ChartKits and is a practical accessory to allow easy access to charts. Protects the chartbook from moisture and the elements.
It consists of a husky stainless steel bracket and clamp and a 4-1/2" long nylon coated aluminum cleat. It easily mounts to 7/8" or 1" diameter stanchion or rails with the included hose clamp.
The vane is permanently attached to the stake while the plastic base easily slides in and out of the bow eye fairlead, held in place for sailing with the stake. Simple to install and remove after sailing.
