These horizontal, fully automatic rope/chain windlasses from Maxwell have been designed to meet the demands for use on larger vessels up to 16 metres (52 feet), which require a completely above deck installation system. The HRC10 flawlessly handle rope up to 16mm (5/8") and chain up to 10mm (3/8") in size, including the thick rope to chain splice.
Twenty-four feet overall and constructed with 1/2" diameter floating MFP line, two ferruled 316 stainless Snap Hooks and an Antal Low Friction Ring. Antal Ring allows the dinghy to track behind the boat easily.
Easy to handle, Nov-Eight stows in anchor lockers using a fraction of the space of equivalent size and length 3 strand ropes. Nov-Eight resists twisting and hockling making anchor deployment and retrieval easy and stress free.
Midrange Hexaratchet blocks grip loaded sheets, yet allow sailors to ease and trim quickly and with complete control. A switch on the side engages and disengages the ratchet mechanism.
