The Newport Solid Fuel Heater is a small stainless steel solid fuel heater designed for casual use. It's ideal for boats 20-25'. This heater burns one to two 1" thick wood or presto log, a handful of charcoal briquettes or coal.
Size 13 SWG to 19 SWG English-made by hand, and will not cut sail twine. These triangular shank needles open a larger hole in the fabric which cuts down on chafe problems when pulling a long length of twine through the sail again and again.
The short version used as the first piece of pipe from the top of diesel or solid fuel heater. The barometric damper helps decrease the draft on longer chimneys allowing the user to operate the unit on lower fuel settings. Recommended on all installs.
