The Wichard 7051 Lyf'Safe Jackline Kit is a complete set of adjustable ready to use jacklines that can be tailored to the length of the boat.
This kit is suitable for a boat less than 30 feet in overall length, which has a distance between the two deck attachment points less than 27'.
The Wichard Lyf'Safe enables safe movement on the deck and is designed as one component of a safety system. It is designed to simultaneously prevent two persons, each weighing less than 100kg , from going overboard when used in conjunction with a safety tether that meets EN1095, with the tether connected to the user wearing a safety harness.
The jacklines must be connected to deck attachment points which are through bolted or welded deck plates or other suitable and strong anchorage fitted on the deck, port and starboard of the yachts centre line.
The kit contains two jacklines featuring webbing with a soft elastomer casing that eliminates annoying noise and vibrations. In addition, one side features a reflective photoluminescent casing that allows the Lyf'Safe jackline to be easily indentified in the dark.
The Lyf'Safe jacklines come with a factory sewn loop for use at the bow attachment point and two heavy duty Wichard Stainless Steel adjustable fastners for use at the aft end. The adjustable fastner is sealed in a removable luminescent casing that allows removal of the jacklines.
