Quick and powerful operation is obtainable with the first, reduced speed then, with increasing load, simply wind in the opposite direction to engage the second gear and maximum power is automatically selected.

This Antal XT 2-Speed, Self-Tailing winch has a hard black anodized aluminum drum which is Teflon coated, scratch-proof and hard wearing. The vertically knurled drum offers maximum horizontal friction allowing the rope "slide" upwards. The "Differentiated Grip" design delivers minimum friction on the lower part of the drum where loads are high and maximum at the top where loads are minimal. The result is an even grip along the entire drum.

The new XT Self-Tailing system from Antal offers a fixed upper disk with a built-in, self-tailing arm and a self-regulating lower disk on springs. This new system adapts automatically to a wide range of rope diameters and, if over-loading occurs, releases the line to avoid excess force on the self-tailing arm.

The XT series offers quick and easy disassembly - just simply unscrew the upper ring to immediately dismantle the winch for cleaning or maintenance.
