As per MARPOL 73/78 a list of Machinery Space Operations relating to oil is to be recorded by every ship of 400 gross tonnage and above and every oil tanker of 150 gross tonnage and above. The Oil Record Book Part I shall be preserved for a period of three years after the last entry has been made.
As per MARPOL Annex V for the prevention of pollution by garbage from ships, a record is to be kept of each discharge or completed incineration. This includes discharges into the sea, to reception facilities, or to other vessels, as well as the accidental loss of garbage. Complies with MARPOL 73/78, Annex V, Regulation 10 and the Polar Code as required effective March 2018.
As per Regulation 36, of Annex I of MARPOL 73/78 a list of Cargo and Ballast Operations relating to oil is to be recorded by every oil tanker of 150 gross tonnage and above. This is in addition to record keeping of that ships machinery space operations.
