Wichard Lyf'Safe Jackline Kits
Three complete Wichard Jackline Kits kits are available for boats up to 50' in length.
The Wichard Lyf'Safe enables safe movement on the deck and is just one component of a complete safety system.
It is designed to simultaneously prevent two persons, each weighing less than 100 kg, from going overboard when used in conjunction with a safety tether that meets EN1095, with the tether connected to the user wearing a safety harness.
The Jacklines must be connected to deck attachment points, which are through-bolted or welded deck plates, or other suitable and strong anchorage points fitted on the deck, on both the port and starboard side of the yacht's centre line.
The kit contains two Jackline's featuring webbing with a soft elastomer casing that eliminates annoying noise and vibrations.
Also, one side of the line features a reflective photoluminescent casing that allows the jackline to be easily identified in the dark.
Each Jackline comes with factory sewn loops for use at the forward attachment point and a heavy-duty Wichard Stainless Steel adjustable fastener for use at the aft end.
The adjustable fastener is encased in a removable luminescent casing that allows the removal of the jackline's.
